Dear class 8 “A”

My greetings to all you

HAPPY LIFE SKILL DAY

I am writing to share few words with you. I hope you will spare me few minutes to listen to my words.

In this letter I am going to share few of my understandings and observations in your class through my lens of Journal writing.

“Senses journal” is true to my consciousness and if I am wrong tell me, point out positively to my knowledge!

I see …your glittering eyes like stars shining with an anticipation to make the world better. But the way you think of yourself may be wrong. You will take a wrong path in life. Always do understand the differences among you all and respect it.

I see…..many of you were hardworking, smart and kind, that’s the beauty in your class. It is the assets of your class; take care and take daily inspiration from them. You don’t have to look other great people to haunt for inspirations, just look at your shoulder partner. He or she is worthy enough to ignite your minds.

I see…there stands few Chortens and one Mani Dungkhor surrounding your school. Please do regular circumambulating because your brother, sister, old parents, did it before and received blessings from it. Look at the altar inside your Class, it is dusted and the portraits of great beings are left unattended. If you were offering the water in the early morning in your altar, please make sure do it with cleanliness and with good intentions. Offer only the clean and fresh water.

I feel…..You should respect the national flag, Prayer flags along the Bridge and the Jampelyang Phodrang, because some of you tend to forget those signs and symbols erected before your eyes with significance. If you respect you will be gaining the good merits as you wished for. Respect and do value the food you eat in the hostel. It is energy for you to nature your brain and the heart. I feel some mistreat it regularly.

I smell…few of your class member doesn’t care and respect to the mates because I found some of the students butt were rotten, and openly releases the unpleasant gas with forceful sound to make it more pathetic.

I feel…..few of your class boys and girls need to rethink on the way you were growing up. Some of you are trying to grow up before the age. Some were still in a stage where you think like the toddler. You were expected to know what is good and bad by this age!

I feel..... Some of you are not interested in studying because you are not participating in the class discussion and activity. Please take up the learning as lifelong habits because it is a single life opportunity. Treat the classroom as you have set the visions and missions. Never think you are smarter than the teachers, it is completely a wrong habits in your thinking because it’s going to ruin the life of yours. Respect your class teacher, because he is like your father who is their for you to say “my good boy and my good girl” like in a family. He will never fail you to care you in the need of his love and kindness.

I hear….. unpleasant news from your class stating that some boys are picking up the unhealthy habits like chewing or smoking , it is saddening story from your class to me at this point of being together. I hope you will give away the habits early as possible.

I think…I was disheartened looking at some of the faces, because still you have forgotten to smile on Monday while observing the day as GNH day.

I think……you all have got many things to share with me. Please do write to me with your honest words.

Your sincerely

Owning A Simple Car

Many are living with a dream of owning a car atleast once in a lifetime. But owning car is not always a good story for all. Many lost lives to this man made machines and many ruined their economy  over investing in it. It has also been a major junk and trash in polluting the world.
Countryside- old asset for farmer to do farming.

I don't know how  far I can live long. I have planned for living a better life by owning a simple car. Is this a big burden or a blessing?- I was reflecting it for few days.
After getting into job- owning a simple car is seen as a must. As a earner, everyone expects to own it.

My new car consecrated by His Eminence Gyeltshen Truku Rimpochey.

After completing a year in job I availed loan and bought a pulsar bike costing around150 thousands. I used it for two years. It wasn't a good days riding a bike as many hoped. Many scars filled up my legs and its going to be a dead marks. It gave a family worrisome and myself was risking the life by riding during harsh weather and icy roads. Riding bike is almost like a riding on dangerous bull. It didn't really give me luxury life by owning a bike.

As discussed,to carry famliy and to reach my wife to office  I opted for buying a new car.

The planing was in an ease-
I am also in debt of various  loan. As planned, I was abled to workout. My family and brothers were very supportive in every inch of my action.
My Pulsar 220cc bike for 2017 and 2019.

I remember playing a wooden made toy- dreaming one day to own a vehicle in life.  I would walk all the way from Gamung to see the roaring trucks and imitate its hourn, satisfied with driving gestures , I would return home.
My family didnt have the wealth to own decent family car. Ofcourse not needed in times of their but now, owning car to reach hospital, reach to relative home, office and for traveling  it is a must for all the family.
To this end, I am blessed by my wife and family who supported my initial decision.

To the most, Triple Gem is my guiding stars to every directions of my life. Keeping the ethics and trust as my principle, I have taken the big risk of owning a car.
Car  showcasing. My opted car.
It has been a great days for my family. We could reach everywhere.
I wrote about car thinking that it was a  achievement in the life of an ordinary man.

Chilli in Everyday life

Chilli has become a basic necessity in cooking commodities. A vegetable garden without chili plant is regrettable for growers. Chilli offers different colors- green, white and red in but seeds are all similar.

In my observation, I have never seen a cuisine without chillies. A diet without emadatshi is incomplete dish in all the gathering.
I walked along the world I saw chili everywhere and the peoples are rushing so much for it.

In a class, Chilli eating-chilli eating rhymes over takes other songs. Everyone knows the Rhymes very well because it tells the story of eating chillies and its consequences.
In scouting class, I learnt a dance on Druk Gi Emadatshi, Druk Gi Emadatsi.......it gave me a lasting impression on eating chillies and the pride of loving Chillies.

The chilli is small in size but when we are eating chilies it seems to be stronger than the size. when we stay near the fire we feel the warmth but when  we eat chilli tears fall from our eyes and like  burning sensation in our mouth.

I still have few questions on chillies. Why Chilli is hot, why Chili is colourful. Why Chilli is Small.
Why Bhutanese love eating Chilli.

The chili is everywhere and people are valuing it so much. In a shop, chilli hit the market and chili growers fetch a good price.
The demand fro chili is increasing and there seems to be very less farmers who were keen in growing chili. In a coming days, if there are less farmers the price for the chili will be expensive.

Coming of the cold season marks with drying chilies on the roof. chilli is a staple diet for winter food. Every one likes eating emadatsi, ezzay and chilli powder.

  My Educational Journey

My schooling days started after my parents have known the real meaning of Education. As an innocent soul, I was sent to Kherigonpa Primary School.
The school is suited above road point and I still remember the roaring trucks. I woke up before the sun rays touch the mountains.  I went to school with my new uniform, shoes and bag. It gave me a pride of being a student. It was a starting point of my education, who introduced me to the world of learning.

In 2016, I studied at Pema Gatshel Middle Secondary School. I was a day scholar. I was once again introduced to a new place. There was none, I knew well. I also remember trying hard to spell over the word Orange.I had the tiring journey on foots from Shomarthung to Pemagatshel School. It was a little hardship I faced in my life. It was difficult to adjust between study and play. I got very little time to play.In 2017, I came here at Gonpasingma Lower Secondary School as a border. The school was quite near my village.

The school is very rich in giving me the lifelong lessons in life. I know my teachers and they are very good to me. They shared me the knowledge and life skills that would serve me in future. I have lots of friends who are ever ready to help me at any cost of life.

Finally, I value my education as my parents did. It is like an eye which sees the different world. Again I would like to thank  all of my teachers for teaching me the values of life.
Thanks
